Background
Former CEO and board chair with a track record running branch-network B2B services businesses at scale. Malcolm is a member of the Anacacia Capital Business Advisory Council. His executive track record includes CEO of Coates Hire, Australia's national equipment rental business with a multi-branch operating footprint; CEO of Elders Limited; CEO of Defence SA; and CEO of Manpower Australia and New Zealand. Malcolm also served as Non-Executive Chairman of ASX-listed Big River Industries from 2019 to 2023 (Non-Executive Director from 2016) and Non-Executive Chairman of SubZero Group Limited and Norwest Productions. He currently serves as Non-Executive Chair of Harrold & Kite, Mentor & Advisor to the Board at SuperGuardian. Malcolm spent his early career as an officer in the Royal New Zealand Navy and holds degrees in accounting and mathematics. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Directors (FAICD).
