Background
John is a non-executive director and chief executive with deep experience in industrial services, corporate leadership and governance. He served as CEO of a national industry peak body from 2023 to 2026, leading advocacy, accreditation, regulated training, technical services and member engagement. He has also served on industry boards and as a Non-Executive Director of the Australian Construction Industry Forum. Earlier, John was Group General Manager – Industrial Services at Airmaster, where he led a major maintenance and services division. His operating experience includes integrating three acquired businesses into a single operating platform and then leading the further integration of that combined entity into a broader industrial services vertical. His corporate experience also includes mergers and acquisitions work at CSR. He holds a Master of Science in Organisational Leadership from Northeastern University in Boston and a Master of Commerce from Swinburne University.
